This stuff works wonders on helping promote hair growth on dogs. Dab some on the scabs and watch them heal. Only ever used on dogs - unknown about other animals.

Used this on a serious oozing pressure wound from a collar. Just applied a few drops straight on the wounds directly and then next day it was dry and healing great. Within 3 days you could barely tell it was there. In the past for the same type of wounds we've used triple antibiotic creams, betadine scrubs, chlorahexidine scrubs, bluekote and other sprays guaranteed to work. They would still drain for days and take a week to 10 days to heal. This was unbelievable how well it worked. Also have used it on newborn puppies that have tails docked since it is safe for mom to lick. Smells great and they healed and faster than iodine drops.

I used this on our newborn puppies to help them heal (e.g., belly buttons, dewclaws, cropped tails). It is safe for the mom to lick, but she showed no interest in it so they healed better! I was instructed that, for newborn pups, you should dilute it by putting a few drops into a little bit of a carrier oil like olive oil.
